Rey is ANAKIN SKYWALKER , Not Luke's Daughter

  1. Ok, but wouldn't she be super old if she was Anakin's twin?

    1. According to my wife, there is a completely relationship between Ren and Rey in the book. It actually explains things a bit more and without giving away things, let's just say things are different in the book between them.

    2. Anakin didn't have a father, he was a miracle child!

  2. Not a chance. I personally believe she is Luke's daughter. In the books (which Disney is not going to follow or pay attention too, but still) Luke does have a romance and has kids. In his visits with apparitions of Obi-Wan and Yoda, they realize that the Jedi Code was dated and partially what blinded them to the Sith's plans all right under their noses. Luke decides to make the new order with a few changes. Some of which touch on the dark side allowing passion to fuel a Jedi's powers so long as the intent/outcome is noble and good. (Some of this comes from Jedi Outcast, and Jedi Academy the games).
As far as the prophecy of the Chosen One who restores balance to the Force, that prophecy is ultimately fulfilled when Vader kills Sidious and dies a few moments later, leaving Luke to be the last trained Jedi in the galaxy. Furthermore, between Episode V and Episode VI Luke has a brush with the Dark Side, but is able to resist. Through his brief sojourn into the Dark Side, he picks up his extra abilities, and uses his knew knowledge after communing with Yoda to form the new Order that is itself balanced in it's code. This is why Luke returns in Episode VI wearing black robes of a Sith, but wields a newly forged green lightsaber symbolizing his balanced understanding of the Force.
All that being said, Anakin is a spectre in the Force like Yoda, Obi_wan, and Qui-Gonn, as we know. Rey is not the incarnation of Anakin bringing the prophecy to fruition, as the prophecy already occurred. Although Disney isn't going to stick to the books exactly, they are taking certain parts of it and setting the time of TFA to not interfere with any of the "main" books. For instance, Ben Skywalker was Luke's 2nd or 3rd? kid with Mara Jade.

    1. If i remember right Ben was Luke's only kid with Mara Jade

    2. If the prophecy was fulfilled then why at that start of the movie does Lot San Tekka mention without the Jedi there can be no balance to the force. Rey is the chosen one because there couldn't have been balance with the shadows of the Empire still lurking and then the rise of the first order.

    3. Ben is Luke's only child. Han and Leia have twins one light side one dark side

    4. One could argue that Anakin DID in fact balance the force after all was said and done there was Obi wan and Yoda left, and Vader and sidious, ..seems pretty balanced to me

  3. Time-travelling? Reincarnation? Soul-Transferring? Stop confusing STAR WARS MOVIES, with STAR TREK EPISODES.All the theories are deep in ST territory. Next they'll say that a Force-Blob from another dimension is the puppet-master of the Galaxy.

    1. Time travelling was actually part of the later star wars books but luke could only throw his conciousness into the past not hos body secondly soul tranferrence was also possible an was something DARTH BANE tried but failed to do on his apprentice when she turned on him as for reincarnation thats out the window so your statement is flawed know your star wars history/lore ....

    2. Darth Caedus/Jacen Solo had the whole flow walking thing. He could go back in time and watch events unfold...he couldn't alterate it all but doubtless...there is ALOT of mind blowing left field material coming outta of the EU novels and comics. If you never read any of the books...you really shouldn't make statements like this. And why do people always compare the two. Cause they both have spaceships? It's comparing Apples and oranges.

  4. So, is it a real human being in this video or did someone just run it through Google translate? Seriously, that voice bored me to tears.

  6. What a pathetic theory none of it adds up none of it makes sense if you pay attention to the novels you do see as stated that certain aspects have been used and you know I agree with the one that says that somebody's theories are getting to Star Trekish somethin theories are good some fan theories are bad ultimately this one is bad we've been told by the directors of this one and the next one that we will be satisfied with her origin in the next movie I tend to lean in the direction that she is a Skywalker that I do agree most likely she is Luke's kid let's see how it all pans out

  7. Simply going by the timeline Rey is obviously the daughter of Ezra & Sabine from Star Wars rebels. Furthermore Sabine, is more than likely the daughter of Savine of Mandalore and Obi Wan making Rey Obi Wan's granddaughter. Think about it. OBVIOUSLY Disney is going to want to promote and develop their new original characters into the movies. They've already demonstrated the Star Wars rebels/Movie tie in with Old Master/Snoke.

  10. I don't care or know who's kid Rey is...as long as she and Kylo have another duel at full power fully trained... But hey want a theory? Rey is the illegitimate daughter of Yoda and that singing alien from Jabba the huts lair....or no no she is chewbacca
And Leia's daughter from that night after the battle of Endor when Han got drunk and slept with that ewok chick....lmao

  14. I think David Royce Johnson is correct. Rey is a product of the force, which is rebalancing things after the dark side creations of Snoke and Kylo. Simple.

  15. Actually, I think she is another child born of the force (or a Plagueis creation, I am open to either) like Anakin. It could be that the force knows that it is out of balance and therefore tries to correct itself by making super strong force wielders.

If you believe in the "Plagueis theory" and the Updated Skywalker family tree, then it could be that he (As Snoke) manipulates the midichlorians again to make another super strong force wielder (considering that the last one destroyed the Jedi order). However, Rays mother knowing that Snoke is going to come for her decides to to go on the run and while the she is running abandons Rey on Jekku for her safety.

While I'm talking theories, I should also put in that Rey may not be the Skywalker but really it's Fin. Perhaps not the son of Luke (although he could be) but another Skywalker outside of the known family tree. We assume that right off the bat that Shmi (Anakin's mother) is the only Skywalker. However, never at any point in the storyline does anyone say that she is the only living relative. It could be that she may have had other living relatives that she may have lost contact with when she became a slave. Keep in mind that the Title is "The Force Awakens" and can be reflected when Fin is with the other Stormtroopers attacking the village in the opening scene. When he sees the blood and the violence he "Awakens" to the horrible truth that is the First Order.

Anyway, just keeping an open mind of what might happen in the next movie. Considering that Ryan Johnson is the director of this movie and he known to make serious plot twists.

  16. That's the most craziest bullshit theory I've heard so far there is no such thing as reincarnation through the force in any of the films and besides how on the hell could that ever possibly be Luke Skywalker when at the end of the film he was shown and to me he didn't look nothing like a part of the force like at the end of episode 6 with Yoda and anakin

  17. Anakin's role in the Force was fulfilled. He destroyed the Sith along with himself, Lucas said so and Disney won't dare touch that part of the mythos. They are smarter than that. I can however digest the fact that Rey may be a midiclorian birth just like Anakin. However she states that she is waiting for her family on Jakku. That hints us to the fact that there were actual people who she remembers as her close relatives. My theory is that she is in fact Luke's daughter and that will be confirmed at the start of Episode 8. The mystery will be the identity of her mother, Mara Jade. It will be that revelation that will mirror Empire Strikes Back so expect a new very evil middle-aged female figure to also star in the new film.

  18. OMG this is the lamest reasoning as to WHY she is Anakin Skywalker. Not once in the entire "Theory" do they give any plausible reasoning, just assumptions, very WIDE Assumptions I might add, and way off base conjecture.

I can't wait for Episode VIII for one reason and one reason only, so they stupid theories can be put to bed. . .
