  1. That's actually a really cool theory and I'm starting to hope that you're correct. #mindblown

  3. Interesting theory, if it turns out your right that would be pretty wizard, lol

  4. Nice idea, the force moves in mysterious ways. I think that this would be a great plot line, but as a word of caution, bear in mind that the immaculate conception of Anakin was incredibly shonky in episode 1. If treated right this could explode everyone's expectations 😀

  5. Wow....that would be something....The Force can do alot of things....it would also explain Luke's pained look as the movie closes out.

  8. Sorry but I really hope they're not gonna go in that direction. Id believe the idea of rey being a grandchild of obi wan over the Anakin reincarnation bullshit any day.

  9. Interesting theory, can she not be both Lukes daughter and the reincarnation of anekin?

  10. As Luke's daughter, she is Vader's grand daughter. So all that still is valid as grand daughter of Anakin. Rey & Kylo are cousins. Too bad Rey's name wasn't Ana. They key to Rey's Force ability was Kylo trying to read her ming when she fights back and reads Kylo's mind because when one tries to read someone's mind with the force, both minds are open. Kylo wasn't fully trained and he probably had thinks he was better at and things he didn't do as well with the Force. Plus, as far as Rey beating Kylo in a lightsaber battle, everyone seems to forget that Kylo got hit with Chewy's cross bow blaster before fighting Finn first. He had to use the force just to be able to walk and not bleed to death, much less use anything else to help him in a lightsaber dual.

  12. This is the most fascinating theory I've heard yet. And is supported by Maz Kanata's line "If you live long enough, you see the same eyes in different people." Then there's the clue given in her name. Rey means king. And could also be a reference to Ra, the mythological Sun God who dies every day, only to be reborn again the next morning.

  13. If this is a true possibility then, a second chance to get things right to finally bring balance to force for the good side.

  14. Interesting! It'd be sweet if you were right. :-)

  15. Question: If, according to this theory, Rey is the chosen one reincarnated, and it was previously Luke, how could they both exist at the same time? And could she still be Luke's daughter? Wouldn't she still have to come from somewhere?

    1. It wasn't previously Luke, it was always Anakin, he wiped out the Jedi, he wiped out the Sith.

All that's left is Luke (light) and whoever Snoke is (Dark) and now snoke is increasing his faction by seducing kylo who until recently was teetering between light and dark.

  16. Anakin did bring balance to the force. There were 100s of Jedi if not thousands before the purge and there were only two sith. After the purge the were only a handful of Jedi and still only two sith. Much more closer to being in balance. The Chosen one did his job as per the myth, the Jedi just interpreted it wrongly.

  17. Hmm....could also explain why R2 finally woke up when Rey showed up.

  18. Ooo this is a very interesting theory! Can't wait for the next two movies now! And I'll most likely go see The Force Awakens for the third time soon LOL

May The Force Be With You!

  20. I like this theory. Either way would still be a great outcome whether she is Darth Vader reincarnated or Luke Skywalker's daughter. May the Force Be With You!

  21. Bloody brill.......something had been nagging me all 6 times I have seen this film, but I think you completed my circle. I am/was in the camp of Luke'Starkiller daughter. But this actually makes a ton more sense than even that! I hope this is what they will do! And also when Ren is probing her mind, she sees Ren is afraid he will never be as String as Darth Vader!! And she says it with passion.

  23. If this is true, it will be amazing if the next movie will have a scene between Kylo Ren and Rey where Rey says, "Kylo, I am your grandfather." Boom, Big Reveal 2.0 FTW. haha:)

  24. No no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no!

Can we leave the immaculate conception, the will of the Force through midichlorians & the knee-jerk reaction to take a step BACKWARDS to try & "clean up" Lucas' Prequel Trilogy by retconning things we didn't like by trying to "make it better & hip?"

Honor the past, embrace the present to move bravely into the future. This is BEYOND a bad idea. Can't they give the fans what we want & not what they THINK we need? You want to go a different route, FINE! You want to create a new Canon to embrace the totality of the STAR WARS UNIVERSE, EXCELLENT! You want to reincarnate Anakin Skywalker for some bull reason because you want to recreate some half-baked garbage New Age rehashing of one of the greatest cinematic plot twists, "I am your father," to make your vision of STAR WARS interesting?

No no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no!

    1. Actually Star Wars already incorporated New Age ideas from the first moment the Force is mentioned. After all what is the Force? An energy field which is created by all life. Many new age beliefs incorporate ideas about universal energy fields.

Heck even the light saber has a new age ideal in its very core. A lightsaber is powered by a kyber crystal. As you know, crystals also play a part in New Age beliefs.

  25. And when are kyber crystals mentioned in the films? And the force is more of a universal spiritual concept. It seems new agey because new age beliefs are also superfluous and vague
