The 'Lighter' Side Of The Force
Per George Lucas the galaxy they're in has more hydrogen molecules in space than our own. Ergo sound in space
Who cares. Watch 2001 and see how you feel about no sound in space.Sensible see it as part of the soundtrack. There typically isn't a 60+ piece orchestra in space either, but the movies are better with a soundtrack.
The first one is just wrong! It does indeed take place in the past but not as you describe it! It takes place in the past compared to the existence of the story teller. This means, when you watch the movie and see the credits in the beginning, you are at a hypothetical point of time hundreds of thousands of years in the future (compared to now) and you are looking BACK and watching the story of Star Wars, which took place in the past compared to the hypothetical point, but which is way in the future compared to now (2016).
Do you have sort of proof of this? Sounds like conjecture...
"A long time ago in a galaxy far far away" is basically Lucas' "Once Upon a Time"It is simple meant to mean: NOT HERE, NOT NOW.
Maybe you should do a little more research before recording an article like this. And, don't assume that "most people watching" think this or that.
