Top 10 Worst Reasons You Liked Rogue One

  1. Oh my gawwwwwd! This is a whiny little girl who anguishes over the fact that there are no grand "character arcs" .
Hello.... the movie covers the span of what? 4 months MAX??? How much of a character arc have you encountered since summer break ended at your Snowflake Jr. University? Not much?
Well, considering your voice is monotonous and borderline goth at the BEGINNING of this video and is STILL monotonous and goth-angst at the end of the video..... TA DAH! YOU have no character arc either.
Just go watch your Twilight movies and leave Star Wars to the folks that understand it.

    1. Also she seems to expect full on prequel-jedi action, in a film with no jedi in it...

    2. In every story, characters need to have an arc. A story arc and emotional arc. It's writing 101. I enjoyed this movie, but was very frustrated by last of character arcs!

    4. Character arc, character development? Did these nay-Sayers even watch this movie? With the flashbacks we have more character development for Jynn than most Star Wars characters who appear in only one movie. The whole movie was her character arc.
Then she says first half she didn't like...oh, you mean the part where we got to know Jynn. Cassian had developement too. As seen when he didn't assassinate Jynns father. Also what was cool was seeing the power struggle in the empire over the Death Star between Krennick and Tarkin. Yes Darth Vader makes a brief appearance, because in the grand scheme of things, he would have to be. He existed during this time, he played a huge roll in the empire by this time, and this was such a pivotal moment...the plans being stolen, that if Vader didn't make an appearance and try to get them it would be a huge inconsistency to the character. This little girl doesn't get it and is trying to come across as smarter than everyone else which just makes her look less intelligent. If she feels this way fine, why do you have to bash those who really get it and enjoyed the movie for what it was? No, it wasn't a deep movie. I think most didn't expect that. I went in thinking I was finally going to see how the Death Star plans were stolen. I was not disappointed.
